At Blue Robotics, we enable the field of marine robotics with affordable components and systems. What does this really mean? We design cool tech for use underwater that enables tons of people and organizations to pursue their audacious dreams of exploring and learning about our oceans and waterways. Our community is out there doin’ things – they’re mapping Hawaii’s sickest surf breaks, exploring shipwrecks that have long been forgotten, and building bots that are solving complex world problems.

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Blue Robotics you will bring our hardware to life. Your typical day to day tasks will include: collaborating with R&D engineers to develop new product assembly lines, working with assembly technicians to develop and implement improved production processes, flows, and tools, and dealing with the unexpected issues that are part of manufacturing life. We’re looking for someone who is obsessed with continuous improvement and who wants our products to be the best they can be

Unlike other engineering opportunities you won’t be “plugging in” to a system that’s been established for decades, but rather be an integral part of creating one at a young company. Your typical day will vary: in the build-up to a new product launch you will be working on the creation of the assembly line, writing instructions, verifying the manufacturability, during other times you will be working toward improving current product lines, processes / flows, and fixing issues as they come up.

You’ll be part of a vibrant team of people who are passionate about what they do and have fun working together.
